We exhibited a prefabricated teahouse made from cardboard, wood, and washi paper at the "Hand-Palm Exchange" barter event organized by the local group "Shizuichi no Kaze."
Adults and children alike brought things they had made and exchanged items without the use of money. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize each other's value.
In the tea ceremony, the host usually arranges the flowers, but this time, the guests arranged the flowers themselves, in a "flower arrangement" system. Everyone arranged wild flowers picked around the venue in a vase as they wished. They also enjoyed handmade sweets and Macha.
There was also a bagpiper performance, and it was a wonderful event in the middle of nature.
